Visibly Connected Gives Back

We’re fortunate enough as a team to be in a position where we are able to donate time & resources to causes we believe in. Here are a few of those causes that Visibly Connected has been fortunate enough to be involved with.

Humble Area Assistance Ministries

Humble Area Assistance Ministries has had the honor of serving the greater Lake Houston area for over 25 years. We also appreciate those who seek to serve our wonderful community whether it be as a volunteer or donor at HAAM, through their church or as an elected official or candidate for public office. As a tax exempt public charity under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3), HAAM may not either directly or indirectly participate in or intervene in a political office or condone the use of its name, logo, web address or any identifying marks by any candidate for public office."Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM) is an interfaith organization that helps community residents in crisis by providing essential resources to move towards self-sufficiency.

HAAM offers a program called Meals on Wheels. Volunteers deliver meals to those unable to drive and provide for themselves to the full extent. Page enjoys volunteering her time weekly to get these meals delivered for Route 3. She enjoys visiting with these residents, as they all have become friends! Page's Blanket Drive

As a opportunity to serve our community, Page saw a need to warm the homeless through Leadership lake Houston, hosted by Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce. Upon completion of the class in May 2015, Page's Blanket Drive was born. "On social services day, HAAM, Family promise and a host of other non-profits talked to our class about the state of our community. Of course we were shocked to hear the number of students and people in general that lived in their cars or on the streets. Jumping into action, we had a goal of raising 100 blankets, we raised 201, year 2, we had a goal of raising 300, we raised over 400, year 3 our goal was 500 and we landed at 615.

This has truly been a joy for me to watch this blanket drive grow. With the help of my community, friends and family, my dreams have become a reality! Year 5, the plan is to raise 1000 blankets." Stay tuned....
